Grammarly review (2026)

Our verdict

Grammarly is an AI writing assistant that fixes grammar, tone and clarity in the apps and websites you already use. Strengths: works almost everywhere you type, and there's a free version. Weaknesses: we haven't verified current pricing, and for writing whole drafts a general assistant like Claude can do more. Use it if you want polished emails and docs without switching apps. Skip it if you mainly need long-form generation rather than editing. On TierLoot it's currently A-tier in Writing. Compare the alternatives below, and check the official site for current plans before you commit.
