Microsoft Copilot review (2026)
Last updated .
Our verdict
Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft's AI assistant for creating, brainstorming, learning and solving problems, built into Windows and Microsoft's apps. Strengths: easy to reach if you're already on Windows or Microsoft 365, and a free version is available. Weaknesses: we haven't verified current pricing, and power users often find dedicated assistants more capable. Use it if you're a Windows or Office user who wants convenient AI help. Skip it if you want the most capable assistant available; ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini rank higher.
