Perplexity is an AI answer engine that searches the web and gives answers with cited sources. Strengths: citations make it easy to check facts, which is great for research and quick lookups. Weaknesses: we couldn't verify current pricing (the site blocked our automated check), and answers are only as good as the sources it finds, so click through on anything important. Use it if you want a research-first alternative to Googling. Skip it if you mainly need creative writing or coding help.
