Midjourney: our take
Midjourney is the long-standing favorite for artistic, stylized AI images. Strengths: its signature aesthetic and image quality for concept art, illustration and mood boards. Weaknesses: there's no free tier that we can confirm, and we couldn't verify current pricing (the site blocked our automated check). Precise text in images and exact edits aren't its strong points. Use it if you care most about beautiful, artistic visuals. Skip it if you need accurate text, logos or quick edits; try Ideogram or Nano Banana Pro.
Nano Banana Pro (Google): our take
Nano Banana Pro is Google's image model, available in Gemini and also offered in third-party studios like Runway. Strengths: strong image editing and good handling of text inside images, with easy access through the Gemini app. Weaknesses: limits and pricing depend on your Gemini or partner plan, which we haven't verified for every option. Use it if you want to edit photos or make graphics with readable text. Skip it if you want a distinctive artistic style; Midjourney leads there.
